What You Can Expect From Us
You will be greeted at the door by friendly members who can help you find a place to sit, direct you to Bible classes, or answer questions about children’s classes and nursery.
One of the first things many people notice is that our singing is without instruments. We sing a cappella because that is the pattern we see in the New Testament and we want to honor that simple form of worship.
You will hear the whole congregation singing together. You are welcome to sing along or simply listen.Throughout the service, several men from the congregation will lead prayers and read from the Bible. Our goal is to focus our hearts and minds on God and on His word.
Every Sunday we share the Lord’s Supper together. Jesus began this memorial meal on the night of His betrayal, and Christians in the New Testament gathered on the first day of the week to remember His death and resurrection.
During this time, bread and the cup are passed to the congregation. If you are a Christian, you are welcome to partake. If you prefer to simply pass the tray along, that is perfectly fine. You will hear a sermon that comes from Scripture and is meant to help us grow in faith and daily living. We open the Bible together and seek to understand how God’s word applies to our lives today.
At the end of the sermon, there is usually an invitation song. This is a time for anyone who wishes to ask for prayers, seek encouragement, or express a desire to be baptized into Christ.
You are never pressured to respond. It is simply an open door.

What Is Expected Of You
Short answer? Nothing.
You are our guest. You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You can sing, pray, and take notes, or you can simply sit and observe.
We may invite you to fill out a visitor card. This just helps us learn your name and contact information so we can send a short thank you for your visit. You are not added to a list without your consent and we will not overwhelm your inbox or mailbox.
If you have a few minutes after services, we would love for you to stay and visit. Many of us stay and talk in the lobby or near the auditorium. We would be glad to get to know you and answer any questions you may have.
